Digitalis and Vasoactive Drugs

      The therapeutic uses and side effects of digoxin, digitoxin, nitroprusside, and nitroglycerin are discussed. Methods of serum measurement are not readily available for all these drugs, and a number of factors may influence serum concentrations. The efficacy of monitoring serum levels of digitalis and the vasoactive drugs is explored.
