A Nutrition Profile: Some Clinical Laboratory Considerations

      The concept of a nutrition profile and the difficulty of determining which laboratory tests should be chosen to assess the nutritional status of a patient are explored. Criteria that can be applied to determine the appropriateness of including a test in the profile and general guidelines for assembling a profile are presented.
