Use of Monoclonal Antibodies in the Diagnosis and Epidemiologic Studies of Legionellosis

This paper is only available as a PDF. To read, Please Download here.
The production of monoclonal antibodies against Legionella pneumophila has been reported by numerous authors in the last few years. Despite this fact, there are still no well-defined areas iii which they can be used in the clinical microbiology laboratory. Although some of these antibodies can be expected to reach the market within the next few years, their exact value will have to be critically assessed before they are used routinely.
