This paper is only available as a PDF. To read, Please Download here.
Nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging are the most commonly used imaging techniques used for the evaluation of the thyroid gland. Each imaging method has unique strengths and limitations. The appearance of the normal and abnormal thyroid gland, as visualized by these imaging modalities, as well as the clinical utility of these methods will be discussed in this article.
