Cytomorphology of Common Malignant Tumors of the Breast

      Fine needle aspiration (FNA) has become a popular and well-accepted method for evaluation of breast masses for many reasons. One of the central aspects prompting its acceptance is the fact that the classic criteria of malignancy are readily identifiable in most of the common carcinomas of the breasts. Thus, a definitive malignant diagnosis is fairly straightforward in the majority of cases.
